Film Depth is designed for use with Sony Slog 3, S Gamut3.Cine profile and gamma.bThe emulation utilizes a 5219 negative to positive LUT with your choice of Kodak 2383 and Fuji 3513 Print LUTs. The power grade requires the full version of DaVinci Resolve in order to access the customized halation, bloom, grain, flicker, gate weave, vignette and blur effects. Though the power grade is designed for Sony cameras, it integrates the color space transform and allows you to transform any camera footage to be used with the power grade. Future versions may include transform LUTs for those particular cameras. 

The power grade also includes display LUTs for use in NLEs and for importing into your monitor or camera. 

Included within the download is also an in-depth walkthrough video and a PDF for instructions. 

This power grade is designed for SLOG 3 S CineGamut3.Cine (A7III, FX3, FX6, FX9, etc), however, it does contain a color space transform preset early in the node tree, so you can translate virtually any camera to work with this grade. And can even be used with Rec 709 or HLG footage. 

The Display LUTs are for importing into your cameras or monitors. 33P is for cameras, and 65P is for monitors and use within your NLE. I’ve included versions of the same look with lifted shadows, deeper shadows, middle exposure at 0:0 and -1 stop of exposure so you can shoot overexposed and neutralize with the LUT. 

This look is based on 5219 Tungsten to neutral balanced film negative (to positive) + a 2383 contact print look. This is the type of look you might see with films like LOOPER, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5, Super 8, INGLORIOUS BASTERDS etc. It’s the modern 35mm motion picture film look carefully crafted to my personal taste. The power grade, however, will allow you to make it your own. 

This LUT combo has been stress tested against the full RGB spectrum and will not artifact or band when using the 65P LUTs.
